The Gerber EDGE 2 and GS15 Plus work together as a professional thermal-transfer printing and precision cutting system for decals, labels, specialty signage and graphics.

​

Unlike an inkjet printer, the EDGE 2 uses GerberColor thermal-transfer foils to put color directly onto vinyl and specialty materials. That opens up some tricks our other printers can’t easily match—including opaque spot colors, white, metallics and specialty effects, along with full-color process printing.

Print it. Then cut it to shape.

After printing, the graphic moves to the Gerber GS15 Plus, a 15-inch precision plotter designed to accurately cut vinyl and other sign materials. The combination makes it possible to print a graphic and then contour-cut precisely around the artwork for finished decals, labels and custom shapes.

The sprocket-fed system also provides excellent material tracking and registration—particularly useful for detailed graphics and repeat production.

Why use the Gerber?

The EDGE really shines when a project needs something beyond ordinary CMYK printing. Gerber offers specialty foils including high-opacity white, metallics, holographic effects and vibrant spot colors, with many combinations designed for outdoor-durable graphics.
