A heat press is a machine that uses a combination of high heat, pressure, and time to transfer designs onto different surfaces like T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, and hats. It works by placing a design—usually made from heat transfer vinyl, sublimation paper, or transfer paper—onto the item, then pressing it at a specific temperature (often between 300–400°F) for several seconds so the design bonds permanently.
